At Home Workouts
At home workouts are great when you're tired of running and need a break, recovering from an injury or just need some good cross-training to compliment your running program.
A home workout can be as involved or as intense as you want it to be. There are times when my husband and I have decided to get really strict and do the P90X routine (talk about an insane workout). At other times my idea of a good workout at home consist of doing squats while blow drying my hair, then getting down and doing some push-ups and sit-ups.

Rebounding on a Mini Trampoline
Another great and fun way to get in some workout time at home is to use a rebounder. A rebounder is like a mini trampoline and makes for a great low impact workout. It's a ton of fun for the kids too! Here are some fun rebounder exercises that will help you work up a good sweat.
Home Treadmill
In the winter months many of us get stuck indoors because of the cold weather. This is another time when home workout routines are important.
Last year I made the leap and purchased my first treadmill for the home. I did not want the bad weather to keep me from my workouts and the treadmill helped my running along.
Check out some of the treadmills our readers recommend here.
